Beller, Jennifer M.
Journal of Physical Education, Recreation & Dance, v84 n9 p43-46 2013
This article describes a programmatic approach to undergraduate research (UGR) at Washington State University. In a programmatic approach, UGR is woven throughout the curriculum, with the expressed intent of producing undergraduate students who have at least a moderate ability to read, use, conduct, and present research. Washington State University's approach is primarily course based but also includes extra-departmental opportunities for student involvement in UGR.
