Language Distance Learning for the Digital Generation
Duran-Cerda, Dolores
Hispania, v93 n1 p108-112 Mar 2010
The purpose of this article was to shed light on the potential of distance learning to overcome challenges in distance, space, time, and human and economic resources that limit access to language learning opportunities in cultural, literary, historical, geographical, and cross-cultural frames. Language and literature educators collectively have the responsibility to combine their efforts in using all areas of education, including instructional technology in order to help guide their students through an informed globalization process.
