Bodroza-Pantic, O.; Matic-Kekic, Snezana; Jakovljev, Bogdanka; Markovic, Doko
International Journal of Mathematical Education in Science and Technology, v39 n2 p197-213 Mar 2008
In this paper the didactically-methodological procedure named the MTE-model of mathematics teaching (Motivation test-Teaching-Examination test) is suggested and recommended when the teacher has subsequent lessons. This model is presented in detail through the processing of a nonstandard theme--the theme of decomposition of planes. Its efficiency has been tested in six groups of a vocational school in Novi Sad (Serbia) in a three year research project. The results of the testing have been processed and the efficiency of the offered model of teaching has been controlled with the standard statistical procedure of control groups. (Contains 5 tables.)
