This study was designed to parallel Muthard and Salomone's (1969) study of American rehabilitation counselors. The participants took a de-Americanized version of the Strong Campbell Interest Inventory (SCII) and the Careers Officer Task Inventory (COTI), which was designed for this study. The results suggested that role conflict is almost nonexistent for British careers officers. (Author)
