Reading Comprehension among African American Graduate Students

A study was conducted to examine the reading comprehension performance of African American graduate students. The result showed that though the African American sample attained statistically significantly higher levels of reading comprehension than a normative sample of undergraduate students, they achieved lower levels of reading comprehension and reading vocabulary than a comparison sample of White graduate students.
