Mental Health Promotion and Work: Rumbalara Community's Roundtable Discussion 2002.
Hoban, Rosemary
Australian e-Journal for the Advancement of Mental Health, v1 n3 Nov 2002
The relationship between socioeconomic status and health is well established, with people at the lowest socioeconomic levels experiencing the highest rates of illnesses and death. While poverty, unemployment and limited access to adequate housing have a significant impact on the health and well being of the general population, Aboriginal people's experience of these issues is disproportionately high.
