Designed to assist teachers and supervisors in the implementation of the global history course, this bulletin presents learning activities which include the rationale, performance objectives, and teaching strategies related to Theme V entitled, "The Industrial Revolution Had Global Impact." This theme has seven subthemes: (1) Preindustrial Society; (2) Certain Economic, Political, and Scientific Conditions Were Essential for Industrial Development; (3) New Inventions Change Economic Life; (4) Abuses of the Industrial Revolution Lead to Protest and Response; (5) Social and Economic Effects of the Industrial Revolution; (6) The Industrial Revolution Affected Ideologies; and (7) Japan: A Case Study.
