Summative evaluation of a course on the social/demographic environment of business and public service (151 students) found that its vocational relevance needed improvement. The tutor-led, positivist quantitative approach of the evaluation will be refined to help students learn from the evaluation process and will incorporate nonpositivist perspectives. (SK)
