In Study 1, 99 college students rated acceptability of compliance-based and defiance-based forms of symptom prescription strategies for student seeking counseling because of procrastination. In Study 2, 96 students rated acceptability of compliance-based prescription and behaviorally based intervention. Overall, symptom prescription was rated as acceptable treatment but was rated as less acceptable than behavior intervention. (Author/NB)
