This planning information for the University of Hawaii Community Colleges for 1992-1993 through 2001-2002 consists of a series of tables that provide relevant information about the system and its seven campuses. For the overall system the following information is provided for general education and vocational education courses for the years 1992-93 to 1996-97: (1) activity measure, including fall enrollment counts, courses taught, applications processed, and degrees awarded; (2) efficiency measures, including average class size, student to faculty ratios, and courses per faculty; (3) tuition and fees, including statewide and nationwide comparisons; (4) instructional costs; (5) revenues and expenditures, including comparisons to peer institutions; and (6) human resources expenditures. For the system, class size has increased over time, which is also reflected in the increase of the student to faculty ratios. Similar information is provided for each of the seven campuses, with the addition of activity measures, efficiency measures, and instructional costs presented for the following areas: general education, humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, other general education, vocational education, business education, food service and hospitality education, health services, public service, technology, and other occupational and vocational fields.
