A class action suit brought against a New Mexico school district claiming discrimination against Mexican Americans is reviewed. Accounts of interviews and opinions presented by the district superintendent and other educators and researchers regarding the lack of progress toward improving opportunities for Chicanos through court ordered programs are presented.
