Cameroon Basaa.
Moreton, Rebecca L.; And Others
This text comprises an introductory course in the language of the Basaa tribe of Cameroon; it includes both general social and survival needs and specific materials for Peace Corps workers in the health field. The format is based on the "microwave" approach with a series of 265 short "cycles" or lesson units, each consisting of several "manipulative" and several "communicative" phases which provide for practice in using basic sentence patterns in realistic language situations. Cultural and grammatical notes to the reader are given in both French and English; the Basaa material also appears with glosses in both languages.
