Science and religion have been referred to as the two strongest general forces which influence humankind. This document contains the proceedings of a conference which was held to address some of the relationships and controversies surrounding these topics. Included are the texts of the major papers presented at the conference. These are: (1) "Science and Other Disciplines" (Harold I. Brown); (2) "Is Scientific Evidence Relevant to Justifying Religious Claims?" (Sherman P. Kanagy, II); (3) "Religion and Science: Fact and Faith" (John W. Klotz); (4) "Conflict, Compartmentalization, and Complementarity: Three Models for Understanding the Relationship between Science and Religion" (Sara Joan Miles); and (5) "Science in Defense of Whose God?" (Frederick A. Niedner, Jr.). The document also contains a direct transcription of the taped panel discussion and question-and-answer period, the names and addresses of the conference attendees, and a resource list dealing with science, Christianity, and pseudoscience.
