This booklet contains 13 individual project evaluations for activities funded under the Elementary Secondary Education Act Title IV-C during 1979-1980 in the Philadelphia School District. The projects are: (1) Alternative Direction for the 80s; (2) PREP 6; (g) PREP 7; (4) Building Bridges; (5) Consumer Affairs Education Service; (6) Dial-A-Teacher-Assistance (DATA Line); (7) Environmental Education; (8) Mastery Learning; (9) Models for Enriching Reading through Inservice Training (MERIT); (10) Mini Grants; (11) Special Education Activity Center (SEAC); (12) Tutor Corps; and (13) Video Cassette Utilization Extension (Video Cue). Evaluation reports contain some or all of the following information: administrator; headquarters; telephone; PBRS code; state code; operating years; grades served; number of pupils, schools, and employees; current budget; service provided; names of evaluation team members; observed activities; attainment of objectives; and impact. The responsibility of producing the evaluation designs and procedures belonged to the District's Division of Federal Evaluation Resource Services. The Pennsylvania Department of Education was responsible for reviewing and approving the evaluations. On-site visits were accomplished. (RL)
