A Cross-Cultural Evaluation of the OAS: Measuring Brazilian Occupational Aspirations

The study aimed to evaluate empirically the reliability and validity of the Occupational Aspiration Scale (OAS) for southern Brazil. Analyses of mean differences between types of items conformed to expected variations, and the OAS had satisfactory construct validity for the Brazilian sample. However other analyses indicated that it had somewhat lower level of reliability and validity. (EDE)
