This annotated list of periodicals is intended for both public libraries and school libraries in Canada. While focusing on Canadian magazines, this publication also cites some non-Canadian material suitable for Canadian school and public library collections. Most of the material is suitable for the average child or youngster, although there are some adult titles which enrich and augment the collection. An English annotation is given for all periodicals, even when French material is cited. Periodicals are arranged alphabetically by title and each listing includes publishers' address, telephone and fax number, subscription cost, audience level, a list of sources where the periodical is indexed, evaluative/informative annotation, ISSN/ISBN code, and month and year when the information was verified.
