"Child Care Resource Materials" is an annotated bibliography of books, films, and filmstrips on various topics related to the education and development of young children. Categories include: learning activities for children; caring for children - infants through adolescents and children with special needs; parent-child relationships; day care - program planning and costs, infants, family homes, school-age children, industry involvement, and rural day care; nursery school; playgroups; teacher training; recreation and community involvement. The bibliography is indexed and includes a listing of publishers, distributors, as well as journals and magazines. "Child Care Resource Materials" was compiled and printed in 1976 as part of a project entitled the Child Care Awareness Program. The project coordinator developed a set of multi-media materials, designed specifically for Nebraska communities, to provide assistance in organizing and establishing quality child care services for children and families.
