This guide, in English and Spanish, is designed to provide teachers with a scientific basis for identifying myths and distortions about men and women. A pre-test and post-test are included to measure the user's awareness of stereotypes. Object lessons address the following areas: (1) common sexual stereotypes; (2) sexual functions; (3) the difference between physiological and social characteristics; (4) identification of sex organs; and (5) social roles and customs.
