Report of research to test the hypothesis that reflective students would be higher achievers in mathematics than impulsive pupils. An achievement test was developed to measure understanding of mathematical concepts and applications, ability to solve verbal problems and recall basic facts. Data suggest that reflective students obtain better achievement. (RP)
