V-TECS Guide for Entrepreneurship.

This entrepreneurship curriculum guide for South Carolina educators addresses the psychomotor, cognitive, and affective domains of learning. There are 10 units: (1) conducting the initial feasibility study; (2) determining financial feasibility; (3) establishing a legal structure; (4) analyzing available time; (5) preparing a marketing plan; (6) completing a financial plan; (7) planning for production; (8) planning the personnel system; (9) obtaining professional services; and (10) developing a general management plan. For each performance objective in a unit, the following elements appear: task, standard of performance, source of standard, conditions for performance, enabling objective, resources, teaching activities, criterion-referenced measure, and checklist for evaluation. Four appendices are included: (1) a task list; (2) definitions of terms; (3) sources of standards; and (4) a 14-item bibliography compiled by the South Carolina Writing Team. (NLA)
