Maltreatment of Primary School Students by Educational Staff in Israel.

A study involving 5,472 Israeli students (grades 4-6) found almost a third reported being emotionally maltreated by a staff member and more than a fifth reported physical maltreatment. The most vulnerable students were males, students in Arab schools, and students in schools with high rates of low-income and low-education families. (Contains references.) (Author/CR)
