Evaluation of an Intervention to Reduce Playground Hazards in Atlanta Child-Care Centers.

Revisits 58 child care centers in Atlanta (Georgia) that had received interventions alerting directors to playground safety hazards. Comparison with 71 control centers randomly selected found averages of 9.4 hazards at intervention center playgrounds and 8.0 hazards at control centers. These results indicate the ineffectiveness of the intervention. (SLD)
