This document contains agribusiness and natural resources education courses standards for 43 exploratory courses, practical arts courses, and job preparatory programs offered at the secondary or postsecondary level in Florida. Each program courses standard is composed of two parts. The first part, the curriculum framework, includes four major sections: major concepts/content, laboratory activities, special notes, and intended outcomes. The second part consists of student performance standards, which are listed for each intended outcome. Courses/programs are as follows: introduction to agritechnology; orientation to and exploration of agribusiness and natural resources occupations; applied agribusiness skills; fundamentals of agriscience; practical agricultural skills; agribusiness cooperative education; agricultural business technology, directed study, equipment technology, machinery services, mechanics, production technology, services and supplies, services and supplies technology; agritechnology; animal production technology; animal products processing; animal science; citrus production and technology; crop and dairy production; environmental horticulture; farm production operations; fish and seafood production; floriculture; forest technology; golf course operations; landscape operations and technology; livestock production; natural resources and forest ecology; natural resources technology; natural resources, wildlife conservation, and management; nursery operations; ornamental horticulture technology; park management; pest control technology; small and large animal services; turf equipment management; turfgrass operations; and zoo animal technology.
