The article discusses the dual role of the microcomputer as a focus and a medium for training special educators. Current issues, applications, and outcomes surrounding the impact of microcomputer technology on the preparation of special education personnel are explored. Implications for inservice and preservice training of special educators are discussed. (Author/CL)
