OUR's: Optimum Utilization of Resources; A Guide to Instructional Resources in Occupational Education. Research Pub. 77-1.
Beamish, Eric; And Others
This resource guide contains over 300 entries which are available through the Optimum Utilization of Resources (OUR's) exchange system. The entries describe learning materials, such as slides, video tapes, audio tapes, films, print material, and computer assisted instructional programs, which have been developed primarily by faculty of the two-year colleges in New York. These materials have been used successfully by their developers. It is hoped that they will be duplicated or used as models to assist in planning new instructional materials. Materials are listed according to the field of study for which they were developed. Broad subject categories include: agriculture, biology, business and office, communications, computer science and data processing, education, engineering/engineering technology, health care/sciences, home economics, mathematics, physical sciences, public administration and sciences, study skills, trade/industrial/technology, and miscellaneous. Each entry contains the developer's name, telephone number, and college affiliation, a brief subject description of the materials, the type of media format employed, and the student/course level for which it was intended.
