This guide, the second (part 2) in a set of four guides, is designed for the student interested in a vocation in electrical work, and includes two units: Unit IV--Electrical Theory, covering thirteen lessons (matter, the atom, electrical charges in the atom, rules of electric charges, electricity, atoms in an electrical conductor, electrical conductors, structure of insulating substances, insulation--what it does, safety devices--fuses and circuit breakers, light and heat from electricity, electricity produced from chemicals); and Unit V--Magnetism, covering seven lessons (magnets, magnetic poles, magnetic field, magnetic induction, electromagnetism, making a simple electromagnet, how an electromagnet operates a door bell).
