Energy Integrated Lighting-Heating-Cooling System.
Meckler, Gershon; And Others
ASHRAE Transactions, v70 p 335-346, 1964
Energy balance problems in the design of office buildings are analyzed. Through the use of integrated systems utilizing dual purpose products, a controlled environment with minimum expenditure of energy, equipment and space can be provided. Contents include--(1) office building occupancy loads, (2) office building heating load analysis, (3) office building cooling load analysis, (4) energy integration of lighting, heating, and cooling systems, (5) description of all-electric total energy systems, (6) achieving high temperature cooling, (7) solar calorimeter tests, (8) use of shading coefficients, and (9) performance of current installations. A summary and bibliography are also included. (RH)
