Included in this training manual are descriptions and pictures of the following agricultural animal pests: mosquitoes, stable flies, horse flies and deer or yellow flies, house flies, horn flies, wound-infesting larvae, lice, mites, ticks, and bots and grubs. Information is given on the life-cycle and breeding habits of the pests. Methods of control are suggested for each type of pest. Finally, pesticide toxicity, residue potential, and hazards are discussed along with pesticide formulations, application techniques, and extent of treatment. (BB)
