Describes the Electronic Journal of Comparative Law (EJCL) project from Tilburg University and Utrecht University (Netherlands). A general costing model was developed to chart shared and direct costs of producing electronic journals. Data from the developing/publishing EJCL were used to illustrated the application of this model and to assess the costs of publishing this journal in an academic environment. (AEF)
