Making It Count (First Offering). Course Evaluation Report.
Eggert, John D.
"Making It Count," a multimedia computer course designed to be offered on public television for college credit at the sophomore level, was offered by the State University of Nebraska in 1975. The course was developed by the Boeing Computer Services. The course enrollment was 79, with 64 enrolled for credit. The mean student age was 36.5, and over half were women. Data from registrations and a student survey are presented in this course evaluation. Also included are students' course evaluations and academic achievement figures. It is recommended that they adequately reflect the course's instructional objectives, but no broader conclusions or recommendations are made because of the small sample involved. (Author/MSE)
