Girod, Mark
Studies in Science Education, v43 n1 p38-61 2007
Conversations on the connection of art, beauty, and the aesthetic experience in science are gaining a voice in the science education community. It focuses on a discussion of four themes exploring beauty in scientific ideas and experiences. The author calls for science educators to more systematically attend to, study the results of, assist teachers in teaching for, and weighing effectiveness as, at least in part, the recognition of the relationship between aesthetics and science.
