This book is a collection of letters and drawings created by children, that illustrate what they like to do with nature, their fears about the future of nature, and how they would like to treat nature. The book's author traveled the world and visited schools from a variety of areas, including large, medium, and small cities, country towns, and areas with beautiful scenery. A spectrum of upper elementary children were involved from rich to poor. Chapters contain photographs of children, and reproductions of their letters and paintings. Each chapter highlights a separate country and begins with a short introduction describing the author's experiences.
