Letter from Seoul: Correspondence from the International Arts Education Symposium and the Asia-Pacific Regional Conference

Arts educator Gigi Schroeder-Yu and Arnold Aprill arrived in Seoul, Korea to participate in the International Arts Education Symposium and in the Asia-Pacific Regional Conference that are part of the wind up for the pitch of the UNESCO World Conference on Arts Education to be held in Lisbon in March 2006. In this article, they reflect on their trip to Korea with e-mail and blog responses from Nick Jaffe and Jack Yantis. They also offer recommendations for broad-based national policies that they left behind in Seoul.
