This learning activity guide and instructor's manual provide information and exercises for an exploratory activity in accounting. Instructional objectives covered in the guide are for the students to learn (1) reasons for studying accounting and related job descriptions, (2) definitions for accounting terms, (3) the accounting equation, (4) how to prepare a balance sheet, and (5) how to prepare an income statement. Some informative material and sample forms as well as directions for completing the related exercises are provided for each of the five objectives.
