From the Field: Speech Therapy Outcome Measures--Interview with Dr. Pam Enderby
Montgomery, Judy K.
Communication Disorders Quarterly, v36 n4 p252-255 Aug 2015
This article is an interview with Dr. Pam Enderby--a speech language therapist and professor at the Institute of General Practice and Primary Care at the University of Sheffield, Community Sciences Centre, Northern General Hospital, in the United Kingdom--conducted by Judy Montgomery, Editor in Chief, of "Communication Disorders Quarterly." Dr. Pam Enderby was the lead applicant in a legal challenge arguing for equal pay for speech therapists. After 15 years of challenging the unequal pay issue for her field, Dr. Enderby's challenge led to a fundamental review based on the principal of equal pay with substantial benefits for female-dominated professions in the Health Service.
