Antisocial Behavior and the Prediction of Violence: A Meta-Analysis.
Derzon, James H.
Psychology in the Schools, v38 n2 p93-106 Mar 2001
Youthful antisocial behavior is often viewed as a precursor to later violent behavior. Examines the assertion that aggressive reaction patterns in males over time approach the stability of intelligence by studying evidence from 82 reports of prospective studies. Analysis finds considerably more modest relationships between earlier antisocial behavior and the likelihood of later violent behavior. (Contains 34 references.) (Author/GCP)
