This resource guide is intended to aid practitioners in the design of new curriculum units or the enrichment of existing units by suggesting activities and resources in the topic areas of earth, air, fire, and water. Special projects and trips relating to these topic areas are proposed. A sample arts networking system used to integrate various arts organizations with the educational process is described, listing the arts organizations and the educational activities they offer. The appendices include: information on how to locate, interview, and hire a visiting artist; a resource information questionnaire for arts groups interested in participating in a networking program; a sample lesson plan form; and a group of observation, evaluation and opinion forms.
