An Integrative Model of Factors Related to Computing Course Performance.
Charlton, John P.; Birkett, Paul E.
Journal of Educational Computing Research, v20 n3 p237-57 1999
A path-modeling approach is adopted to examine interrelationships between factors influencing computing behavior and computer course performance. Factors considered are gender, personality, intellect and computer attitudes, ownership, and experience. Intrinsic motivation is suggested as a major factor which can explain many variables' relationship with course performance. Contains 58 references. (Author/AEF)
