This manual contains information that vocational education teachers and directors can use to promote their individual programs and also the merits of vocational education. Information is organized into five specific areas: (l) internal network--the school; (2) external network--community support systems; (3) advisory board committees; (4) fairs, booths, and exhibits; and (5) media coverage, i.e., radio, newspaper, and television. The guide provides general information on why and how to use each of these areas to promote vocational education and individual programs, along with specific suggestions for putting promotion into practice. A list of references and resources completes the guide. (KC)
