In this article, the author describes the process she used when job-searching for the first time as a new teacher. The application process is presented in three parts: (1) Copy, paste, and SAVE, Save anything and everything you write; (2) Study and align, study what they want so you can align your experiences to match; and (3) Go to job fairs, Put yourself out there. Wear something professional and comfortable. Carry copies of your résumé. Ask questions and show your interest. The interview process is also presented in three steps: (1) Be flexible and gracious; (2) Dress professionally; and (3) Be yourself.
