Staffing for Persons with Disabilities: What Is "Fair" and "Job Related"?
Hayes, Theodore L.; And Others
Public Personnel Management, v24 n4 p413-27 Win 1995
Opinions of 79 disabled and 93 nondisabled persons were compared about the fairness and job relatedness of personality inventories, cognitive ability tests, leaderless group discussions, work samples, biographical inventories, and structured or unstructured interviews. Disabled respondents viewed structured interviews as significantly less fair than did nondisabled respondents. Both groups perceived unstructured interviews as less fair and less job related. (SK)
