Gender Earnings Differentials in the Engineering Professions in Greece.

A study using 1977 and 1987 data on earnings differentials between male and female engineers found that most of the difference was not accounted for by productive characteristics such as education and experience and was therefore due to discrimination. In addition, the proportion of the earnings differential not explained by productivity has increased over time. (Author/MSE)
