Reconceptualizing Community College Leadership.
Levin, John S.
Journal of Educational Administration and Foundations, v10 n1 p56-69 1995
Current conceptualizations of (Canadian) community college leadership associate leadership with hierarchical organizational structures. Today's community college leaders must respond to external changes and their effects and solve actual problems that have damaged these institutions. Managerial teams offer a less hierarchical, more democratic approach to leadership authority, but further decision-sharing and delegation are needed throughout the institution. (60 references) (MLH)
