Assessment Techniques Appropriate to the Knowledge-Competence Continuum.
Hawe, L. Q.
Aspects of Educational and Training Technology Series, v25 p71-74 1992
The recognition that knowledge, competence, and contribution are stages on a continuum has major implications for assessment methods. Students can be best evaluated by open-ended assignments, case studies, and projects. (PEN)
