Describes a research project that investigated the use of supplemental instruction (SI), a formalized system of peer-supported learning, in large introductory business courses at Oxford Brookes University (United Kingdom). Results suggest that attendance at some SI sessions provided immediate improvement as well as long-term transferrable benefits. (Author/LRW)
