A survey of 899 young adolescents to assess nutrition knowledge needed to make health-related lifestyle choices identified gaps in knowledge for future adolescent programs. Higher scores were achieved by eighth and ninth graders, breakfast eaters, light exercisers, and females; lower scores by seventh graders, breakfast skippers, very light exercisers, and males. (JOW)
