Center Stage: New York's Repertorio Espanol Promotes and Preserves Hispanic Theater.
Dominguez, Robert
Hispanic, v8 n5 p16,18,20 Jun 1995
Currently the only Hispanic company that rotates productions daily, New York-based nonprofit Repertorio Espanol performs classical and contemporary Hispanic plays in Spanish with simultaneous English translation. To develop appreciation of Hispanic literature and culture in a new generation of theatergoers, the troupe performs discount matinees for junior high and high school students, with discussion sessions afterwards.
