Cross-Language Synonyms in the Lexicons of Bilingual Infants: One Language or Two?
Pearson, Barbara Zurer; And Others
Journal of Child Language, v22 n2 p345-68 Jun 1995

First, the accuracy of the claim is examined, and then its adequacy as support for the argument that bilingual children do not have independent lexical systems in each language is considered. (JL)
