Incidence of Depression among Community College Students.

Investigated incidence of depression, using the Beck Depression Inventory, among community college students (n=79) over two semesters. Thirty-four percent of those surveyed during the first semester demonstrated some level of depression, with a higher percentage of males scoring between mild and severe depression. Thirty-one percent reported depression during the second semester. (JBJ)
