A survey of 1,000 home economics professionals received 230 replies; 38% had undergraduate ethics instruction, but only 3 felt prepared to deal with ethical dilemmas. About half of their dilemmas dealt with lack of professionalism in colleagues; social issues accounted for 13% and job-related issues for 8%. (SK)
